Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, Ontario, CAN. She grew up in the farmhouse on “Van Wicklin Lane” and remembers
riding a horse to school. She still lives today in an adjacent house. Barbara and John Van Wicklin met her on August 14, 1999
and took a few pictures of the house and property. Marguerite m. D. Arthur Simpson (b. 1918, d. 1973) before 1953 and they
had two children. Marguerite also has a sister, Marion (Van Wicklin) McCormick, who lives in Prince Edward County.

Simpson, Marguerite Lola -- At the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg
on Thursday, November 22, 2007 in her 76th year, Marguerite [nee Van Wicklin]
wife of the late Arthur Delbert Simpson. Loving mother of Garry Simpson of
Trenton and Peggy [Carm Birney] of Colbourne. Dear grandmother of Barry and his
wife Jan of Trenton; great grandmother of Devon and Trevor. Sister of Marion
[Dan] McCormick of Trenton. A graveside memorial service will be held at Salem
Cemetery on Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at 2 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial
